Day 246
“…it is much more [certain], now that we are reconciled, that we shall be saved [daily delivered from sin's dominion] through His [resurrection] life” [vs 10, Amplified]
Romans 5:6-10
At one time, we were enemies of God. Our life now is in Christ as His friend. While we were God’s enemy, Jesus died for us. How much more now that we are His children and friend will He do for us? Now we are objects of God’s love [Ephesians 5:2];
- God’s grace [Ephesians 2:8-9];
- God’s power [Philippians 2:13];
- God’s faithfulness [Philippians 1:6];
- God’s peace [John 14:27];
- God’s consolation [2 Thessalonians 2:16-17]; and,
- God’s intercession [Hebrews 7:25].
There is more:
- He lives in us;
- He has blessed us with with every spiritual blessing (Ephesians 1:3)
- He continues to deal with sin in our life by delivering us daily (Romans 5:6-10);
- He meets us each day with grace and mercy Lamentations 3:22-23);
- He has established us in Him (Ephesians 1:11);and,
- He has sealed us for our inheritance in Him (Ephesians 1:13-14).
All praise and glory to Him who has rescued us.
“If God be for us, who [can be] against us?—Who can be our foe, if God is on our side? He who did not withhold or spare [even] His own Son but gave Him up for us all, will He not also with Him freely and graciously give us all [other] things?” Romans 8:31b-32, Amplified
